DIY HEADBAND:

Me, A, and M went to JoAnn Fabrics and each bought

1 yard of sequin trim in our favorite color. Then

we went back to my house and measured our heads w/

the trim, cut the trim to fit, and hand-sewed the

two ends together.

DIY PAINT SPLATTER T:

Later that week, A and I went to Target to buy cheap

t-shirts (my yellow shirt was on sale for $1). Then we

went to Michael's to buy paint (no need to buy fabric

paint, which is about 5 times the cost of regular paint,

because regular paint stains the t-shirt anyways and won't

come off). Then we went back to my house, laid newspaper

on the grass in my backyard, & splattered the paint

w/ 3-inch paintbrushes.

DIY MEMORY BOX:

On my own, over the course of a few days, I decoupaged

an old photo box. This is the cheapest DIY ever, because

it's totally free! All you need: an old box (any size or

shape, but preferably w/ all flat surfaces), magazines,

scissors, Mod-Podge, and foam brushes. I cut anything that

appealed to me out of about 6 magazines & decoupaged the

cut-outs to the box w/ the foam brush & Mod-Podge.
